Home Visit Testimonials:
I would like to share with you these
unsolicited observations of Qadesh, particularly about her behaviour in the presence
of children:
February 12th,2003
Hi Bill,
I just wanted to thank you and Qadesh for making each of my
past four birthdays the most incredible and memorable of my life, and pass along
to readers of your website why I would continue to have you bring her year after
year, as well as attend every public appearance our public transit system
allows.
I have noticed her inclination to greet children first. They
are on her eye level, and are
probably more respectful than adults. Qadesh is better mannered than most
domesticated animals, or at least mine. I have witnessed people poke her, and
try to taunt her into reacting. People put their dogs in front of her obviously
not knowing she grew up with one. She just sits there and takes it better
than any animal or person I know. She just looks over to you and knows that she
is
safe. She loves, respects and trusts you enough to know you would never
endanger her.
Since the first time I meet her four and a half years ago, I have felt safer
around Qadesh than I ever have around dogs. I have felt very privileged to
receive every cheek rub she gives. She makes one feel so special. I am happy
for weeks after a birthday visit, and all my friends tell me they have never
been to a better party. That is why I have done it so many times. She is
gentle with everybody from babies to adults. I enjoy every chance I get
to see the reactions from people. Like the Easter Seal children who get so
excited to be close to her. I would love to see a school visit with all the
children's reactions.
Did you not save her from being put to sleep? People should pray that the
government stops people from breeding them to sell which leads to putting to
sleep the ones that don't. Not all of them live to an old age and as well as
Qadesh has. People have to stop the fears they have about these and other
animals in the wild. They should be able to live their lives naturally in
the wild. In their own space without being pushed closer to civilized areas.
Who could not love her?

Hi Bill and Qadesh,
Thank you so very much for your very special visit this past Saturday night
to our home. It was a truly incredible experience for every one of us
there. I would like to share with you the comments from family and friends
about this wonderful occasion:
"Bill, it's difficult to express our gratitude in words however I'm sure
you
will understand this quite clearly.
Imagine the love, compassion, gratitude and appreciation you have for Qadesh
spilling over from your heart to mine. That is how it feels for me. The
moments I had with Qadesh are as fulfilling as the moments you have enjoyed
through out the years. Thank you for your courage, appreciation and
dedication to Qadesh. One of my life dreams has been fulfilled by being able
to be in the presence of a wild cat and be able to touch and hug it. Now as
for my 11 month old daughter, she has seen first hand the power of love and
respect not only for animals but life in general. She has learned not to
fear them. This is a powerful gift that she will carry with her forever. Her
parents will remind her how she was licked by a Siberian Tiger not just
once, but twice.
Our experience with Qadesh has taught us all the necessity to respect and
love our environment along with all those God places in it. We are blessed
to have met you both and will carry your loving wisdom in our hearts
forever.
Sincerely,
Chantal, Brad & Trinity Rose Bates"
"Our experience with Qadesh was phenomenal and will stay with us for the
rest of our lives. And it was so nice to see that someone cares as much
about animals as we do! Thank you Bill!

"It is hard to express in words what a phenomenal and extraordinarily
uplifting experience Saturday night was. I am still on cloud nine. Our
first experience this summer of meeting Qadesh was unforgettable and very
special, but this second experience took me beyond this world to a new
level. Cuddling Qadesh was so incredibly uplifting. Having seen the mutual
love, dedication, trust and respect between you and Qadesh leaves me teary
eyed. What a beautiful relationship the two of you have and what wonderful
beings you both are. I will treasure Saturday night's experience forever in
my heart and will display Qadesh's beautiful picture, that you so
thoughtfully gave to my husband for his 35th birthday, with great pride in
our basement. Thank you Bill and Qadesh for being so giving.

Hello Bill:
I and the rest of our group want to thank you and Qadesh for a most
memorable visit. All of our children will remember meeting Qadesh for the
rest of their lives. I think it may even inspire one or more of our young
ones to actively work to help better the world's understanding of these
precious animals.
I am having the videotape duplicated and will send both you and Marcos a
copy by the end of the week.
Again thank you for a wonderful time and if there is anything I can do
please do not hesitate from getting in touch with me.
Yours very truly,
Mitch Azaria, Good Earth Productions
